| Drug | Jun 2024 mfg cash | Now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wegovy | $1,349 | $499 | -63% |

Sticker (cash-retail) prices barely moved over the period. The drop is almost entirely in manufacturer-direct cash-pay programs — NovoCare (Wegovy) and LillyDirect (Zepbound, Mounjaro) — launched and repeatedly cut to compete with compounded telehealth. For an uninsured patient, the manufacturer-direct vial route is now roughly half what it cost in Jun 2024.

Methodology. The index is the simple average of manufacturer cash-pay (mfg-direct) prices for Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, and Mounjaro at each common quarterly snapshot, normalized to 100 at Jun 2024. Snapshots are LoseLab editorial captures from manufacturer programs (NovoCare, LillyDirect) and published cash prices, refreshed monthly; values carry forward between captures. This is cash-pay only — insured copays and compounded routes are tracked separately on each drug’s cost guide.
