Dose titration schedule

Zepbound titrates through 6 steps — 2.5mg → 5mg → 7.5mg → 10mg → 12.5mg → 15mg — with most patients holding each step for about 4 weeks before increasing, and moving up only if the current dose is tolerated. The first step is for starting, not maintenance; the highest dose is 15mg.

How to take Zepbound

• Administration: injection-weekly

Missed dose

If you miss a dose by less than 5 days (for weekly GLP-1) or 12 hours (for daily), take it as soon as possible. If more time has passed, skip and resume on your normal schedule — never double up. Always confirm with your prescriber.

Tips during titration

• Smaller, slower meals during the first 2–4 weeks of each step up
• Hydrate aggressively — GI side effects are worsened by dehydration
• If nausea is severe, your prescriber may pause at a lower dose longer
